Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop original textile surface designs and collaborate with the design team to create compelling product presentations.
  • Assist with sampling needs from design concept through production, preparing production artwork and product specifications.
  • Maintain and organize design files, swatches, and documentation for easy access and reference.
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and factory partners on product development, understanding customer pricing and quality needs.
  • Conduct regular online and brick and mortar competitive shopping research on current market trends and consumer preferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in home textile design and product development.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, knowledge of soft goods product and fabric constructions, and embellishment techniques and manufacturing processes.
