Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.


Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing routine and specialized nursing procedures, and monitoring patients' conditions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence within our organization.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and best practices, applying evidence-based care to patient care decisions.
  • Assist with patient education and support, promoting health literacy and empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Colorado.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.

Additional Requirements:
  • Demonstrated customer service focus and exemplary service skills.
  • I.V. therapy certification may be required for some positions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BLS certification preferred.
  • Six (6) months of experience with adults, pediatrics, and/or trauma preferred.
  • I.V. therapy certification preferred.
