Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with patients and their families, prioritizing their needs and concerns.
  • Collect and analyze patient data to identify potential health issues and develop effective care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics, including disease management and prevention.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 400 clock hours of faculty-planned clinical experience and guided learning activities.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
  • Practical Nurse License (Colorado) and I.V. therapy certification may be required for some positions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Six (6) months of experience with adults, pediatrics, and/or trauma.
