Job Summary

Performs duties in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides high-quality patient care, ensuring safety and effectiveness in all interactions.
  • Supports physicians and other medical providers in patient care and treatment, including rooming patients and communicating delays.
  • Performs routine and specialized nursing procedures, following physicians' orders and approved nursing care plans.
  • Monitors patients' conditions, collecting and reporting data, and identifying changes in their status.
  • Teaches patients and their families about preventive health measures, such as medication use and general care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program and licensure as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in Colorado.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
  • Practical Nurse License (Colorado) and I.V. therapy certification may be required for some positions.
