Medical Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team at Oswego Health. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team by assisting with office and medical procedures, processing patient referrals, and scheduling appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
- Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma/GED and medical experience preferred
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Knowledge of medical terminology and 3rd party insurance processes
- PC/CRT data entry skills and ability to learn new software
