Employment Role

In situations where the threat to life, critical infrastructure, or the environment is significant, a specially trained security team is essential. As a Security Officer, you will be integral to safeguarding our most crucial assets. You will receive training in advanced security protocols and gain exposure to state-of-the-art technology. The standards are high, and the training is demanding, but those who succeed will join an elite group within the Inter-Con family. As a Security Officer, you will be at the forefront of the advanced security solutions we offer our clients daily.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Successful completion of a fingerprint background check and drug screening.
  • State Guard Card is required.
Responsibilities May Include:
  • Issuing access badges in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Screening personnel and identifying the root causes of security alerts.
  • Monitoring activities to ensure facility security and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Reviewing and archiving CCTV footage related to incidents.
  • Maintaining various logs and completing incident reports by the end of the shift.
  • Responding to alarms per service level agreements.
  • Inputting incident reports into the database by the end of the shift.
  • Providing guidance and support to personnel regarding security matters.
  • Conducting patrols and reporting any suspicious activities or safety hazards.
  • Performing audits and responding to emergencies as required.
  • Filling in for colleagues during breaks or absences as needed.
  • Participating in emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment and Schedule
  • Position may involve working at various client sites, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Role requires prolonged standing and walking during daily security tasks.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
  • Shifts and holiday assignments will vary.
