Job Overview

Responsibilities of a Customs Broker Agent:

  • Prepare data with timely and precise completion of declarations
    • Including the uploading and correlating of responses
  • Monitor and trace cargo movements
  • Understand and manage customer standard operating procedures.

  • Assist customers in providing a clear path to the dispatch team.
  • Responsible for individual work board:

Experience & Expectations

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time-sensitive requirements.
  • Skilled in handling multiple files, with a keen attention to detail and prioritization.

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:

  • Competent in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Fluent in reading and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of customs brokerage processes and customs legislation, particularly regarding classification, valuation, and origin.
  • Familiarity with ocean, road, and air documentation processes.
