Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at ATC White Plains. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our patients, working closely with our Infusion Center, Hematology Oncology Unit, and Oncology Physician Practice nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and dispensing services for our Hematology/Oncology practices and patients.
  • Review patient medication orders against their medication profile in accordance with hospital and pharmacy philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient-centered care and optimal medication therapy.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Supervise Pharmacy Assistants and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a BS in Pharmacy.
  • NYS Pharmacist license and current New York registration required.
  • 2-3 years of hospital pharmacy experience, with a minimum of three annual CE requirements in Chemotherapy/Oncology.
  • Oncology Certification by NYSCHP or BPS or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in hematology oncology and infusion center operations preferred.

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
