Accounting Manager Job Description

The Accounting Manager at Omnicell is responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial statements for Specialty Pharmacy Services on a monthly basis. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the business unit leader/stakeholder in managing SOX and internal audit requests as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the integrity of general ledgers.

• Coordinate the completion of balance sheet account analysis.

• Prepare, verify, and control the entering of journal entries into the general ledger.

• Manage tasks associated with the general ledger (i.e. enter monthly journal entries, execute monthly closing entries, execute month-end general ledger).

• Review monthly balance sheet and profit-and-loss statements.

• Prepare FLUX Reporting for Omnicell Specialty Pharmacy business unit.

• Coordinate monthly closing and production of financial statements to guarantee timely reporting.

• Assist in reviewing and updating monthly closing procedures.

• Participate in the completion and issuance of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements/reports.

• Subsidiary Schedules: Review supporting schedules to ensure that the Company's accounting practices are being maintained (i.e. insurance, fixed assets, amortization of prepayments, etc.), and make recommendations where applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with major in Accounting or Finance required.

• 5+ years of experience in an Accounting supervisory or management role required.

• Preferred Qualifications: CPA, Accounting experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures on manual and automated systems, and advanced knowledge of financial software.
