We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Part Time Educator to join our team as an Assistant Teacher for Early Childhood Education at The Goddard School of North Brunswick. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead teacher in preparing classrooms and engaging children in learning activities during morning hours (7 am – 8:30/9:00 am)
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment during late afternoon hours (5 pm – 6/6:30 pm)
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student safety, health, and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to ensure a seamless transition between classes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate in early childhood education or related field
  • Experience working with young children in a group setting
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move quickly around the classroom
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
