About the Role
We are seeking a Personal Support Specialist to join our care team at Mid Coast Senior HealthCenter. This position is responsible for providing excellent, resident-centered personal care, including assistance with daily activities such as showering/bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
Job Summary
The Personal Support Specialist will work 24 hours per week, night shifts, and be responsible for helping residents with meal service, laundry, housekeeping, and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- PSS certification required or must obtain within 90 days of start date
- Prior long-term care experience preferred
Salary Information
This role comes with a competitive salary of $42,000 - $54,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer benefits that support an individual's needs for today and flexibility to plan for tomorrow.
