Position Overview

Spectrum Convergence operates within Lockheed Martin's Rotary & Mission Systems division.

As the leading entity for comprehensive radio frequency mission solutions, this segment is dedicated to advancing technologies that empower the warfighter to effectively counter threats in the electromagnetic spectrum.

The Warfighter Solutions (WFS) Portfolio Manager will be responsible for the daily oversight of portfolio operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the initiation and execution of portfolio initiatives;
  • Ensuring accountability for financial outcomes and performance metrics;
  • Formulating and implementing strategies for portfolio expansion and diversification;
  • Facilitating the development of new business opportunities within the portfolio;
  • Acting as the portfolio representative in high-level customer interactions;
  • Collaborating with leaders across various market segments;
  • Contributing to Independent Research and Development (IRAD) and technical roadmap planning.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in program or portfolio management;
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities;
  • Ability to collaborate across different functional areas to achieve objectives;
  • Experience in strategy formulation and business acquisition;
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity, Electronic Warfare, and Information Warfare principles;
  • Experience managing various contract types (e.g., CPFF, FFP, OTA, etc.);
  • Proven track record in leading distributed program teams;
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and clients;
  • Familiarity with full program lifecycle management;
  • Willingness to travel as necessary;
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills;
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).

Remote Work Arrangement

Part-time

Remote Telework:

The selected candidate will have a hybrid work schedule, splitting time between remote work and designated Lockheed Martin facilities.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Flexibility

Lockheed Martin supports various alternative work schedules to provide additional flexibility for our employees. Schedules may range from a standard 40-hour work week to condensed formats, allowing for more time away from the office in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.
Compensation Overview

Salary Range:


The annual base salary for this position in specific states is $146,800 - $281,400.

Lockheed Martin considers various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education, and key skills, as well as market conditions when extending an offer.

Benefits Offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
Non-represented full-time employees:

accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on the start date during the calendar year.

This position is eligible for an incentive plan.
