The successful candidate will provide classroom assistance and instruction to children with special needs, implementing behavior plans and attending team meetings to problem solve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom assistance and instruction to children with special needs
- Implement behavior plans for students
- Attend team meetings to problem solve and collaborate with colleagues
- Collect and analyze data on interventions and student progress
- Develop and implement support plans for students with disabilities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience working with children with special needs or in a school setting
- Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Willingness to participate in training sessions and professional development
Working Conditions:
- 24/25 school year
- 35 hours per week
- 194 days per school year
Compensation:
- Band - Support A12 - $18.07/hr
- Support Salary Schedule
