Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Clinician to join our team at United Counseling Services. In this role, you will provide clinical services to mental health and substance use clients, including case management, consultation, and education.

About the Position

This is a full-time opportunity that requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field and two years of experience in a related field. The ideal candidate will have a professional clinical license in their field of specialty and be able to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional Certification within one year of start date.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Services: Provide assessment and brief counseling to individuals and families with mental health and/or substance use crises. Coordinate services with other agencies and providers.
  • Consultation and Education Services: Provide mental health and substance use consultation to community agencies, schools, and the professional community.
  • Clinical Case Management: Provide concurrent case management services on an as-needed basis, including service coordination and collateral contacts.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough records of client interactions and services provided.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Two years of experience in a related field
  • Professional clinical license in field of specialty
  • Ability to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional Certification within one year of start date
Benefits and Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $61,003.28 - $63,003.28 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
