Job SummaryThe MRI Technologist is a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging team, responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI principles and techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Perform MRI examinations on patients, following established protocols and procedures
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent
- Operate MRI equipment, including scanners and related systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in MRI technology and techniques
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification in MRI technology (ARRT or ARMRIT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
