Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging team, responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations and providing exceptional patient care. As a journey-level position, this role requires a strong foundation in radiological technology and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
  • Correlate patient clinical history with radiology exams to ensure accurate and effective imaging
  • Use universal precautions when working with patients in isolation status and in sterile surgery
  • Assist with departmental clerical functions and participate in quality improvement activities
  • Attend and participate in department meetings and stay current with changes in policy and procedure
Requirements
  • Valid California Certified Radiological Technologist Certificate (CRT)
  • Possession of a valid MRI Certificate with ARMRIT or ARRT
  • Membership in good standing with American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
  • Valid BLS-HCP with American Heart Association certificate
