Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Services team. As a journey-level position, this role requires a minimum of two years of experience working in a clinic or acute care hospital facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, interacting with patients and staff, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using MRI equipment
  • Correlate patient clinical history with radiology exams
  • Use universal precautions when working with patients in isolation status
  • Assist with department clerical functions
  • Attend and participate in department meetings
  • Stay current with changes in policy and procedure
  • May require work shift rotation for training purposes
  • Accurately troubleshoot radiology equipment
  • Develop and maintain effective work relationships with management, staff, patients, and physicians
Requirements
  • Valid California Certified Radiological Technologist Certificate (CRT)
  • Valid MRI Certificate with ARMRIT or ARRT
  • Membership in good standing with ARRT
  • Valid BLS-HCP with American Heart Association certificate
