Job Title: Customer Quality and Systems Quality Manager

Company Krupp Bilstein of America, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Customer Quality and Systems Quality Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

The Customer Quality and Systems Quality Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable excellence in quality before, during and after the production cycle by providing technical leadership through quality discipline, driving adherence to and, at times, developing systems and maintaining an intense customer focus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the primary points of contact for all customer quality-related activities.
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer complaints and quality concerns maintaining strong relationships with customers to understand their quality expectations and requirements.
  • Lead the team in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes by ensuring collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products, including design reviews, process capability studies, and risk assessments.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems and processes maintaining compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date with changes in safety regulations and standards and communicate these changes to the relevant teams to ensure that all products comply with relevant safety standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct safety risk assessments and hazard analyses for new and existing products.
  • Implements, monitors and maintains quality Best in Class operating systems and initiatives through goal and KPI setting.
  • Facilitates a culture of root cause analysis and problem solving and development of long-term, cost-effective solutions as well as a zero-defect mind set.
  • Support the development of the department budget.
  • Tracks and maintains quality related costs.
  • Develop goals for the department that are aligned and support the organization's top goals.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace.
  • Multiplier of safety in the workplace.
Requirements:
  • Considerable experience as a Quality Engineer with proficient knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Demonstrated experience leading and motivating teams in situations associated with high volumes of work and/or customer demands.
  • Extensive understanding and experience in quality control/quality assurance within the automotive industry with knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 IATF 16949 standards.
  • Knowledge and experience in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System.
