About the Role

Kettering Health is a leading healthcare system in southwest Ohio, committed to delivering high-quality care to every stage of life. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality and Patient Safety to join our team.


Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction for Network Clinical Quality across Kettering Health Network, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to every patient, every time. This will involve:


  • Ensuring alignment of workflows and performance improvement methodologies across the network
  • Acting as an advocate for the safe and timely delivery of care, with accountability for integrating services that facilitate One Best Practice
  • Providing leadership direction for quality leaders across the network
  • Overseeing the Quality Programs related to Ambulatory Care, Inpatient and Outpatient metrics
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve Patient Safety across the network, including infection control and performance improvement activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:


  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field
  • At least five years of progressive supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Certification as a Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or willingness to obtain within three years
