Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team at RTA US. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and designs for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scale layouts, assemblies, and details based on designed specifications and business partner requirements.
  • Provide precise dimensions to define appropriate views of parts and assemblies by drawing orthographic projection and isometric views.
  • Define the number of components necessary to complete assemblies.
  • Collaborate with machine shop personnel, designers, and engineers regarding design specifications and prototype design.
  • Attend design project review meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in drafting or a related field.
  • Understanding of drafting principles associated with technical drawing creation of individual parts and assemblies.
  • Experience with Creo and AutoCAD.
  • Adobe Illustrator experience is preferred.
  • Mechanical inclination.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
Additional Information
  • This is a hybrid role that requires in-office attendance at least one day per week.
  • This is a contract opportunity.
  • The work schedule is 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
  • The pay rate is up to $32/hour, depending on experience.
