Job Summary

The Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Development department at One More Child. This position is responsible for providing administrative assistance and contributing to fundraising initiatives that help develop, expand, and steward donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Development team, including scheduling meetings, responding to requests, and coordinating tasks.
  • Manage and distribute donor giving reports to inform strategic planning.
  • Plan and execute special projects as assigned, and assist team members with special projects as needed.
  • Research and implement development programs and donor base growth ideas.
  • Support the planning and execution of Development-related events.
  • Develop a small portfolio of donors to learn the fundraising process.
Requirements
  • Two years of higher education or professional work experience.
  • Experience leading in some capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with fundraising or development work.

  • Ability to research and complete self-study to increase development and fundraising knowledge.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and remain focused for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required.
