ECC Behavioral Health Nurse, Emergency Room- 24 Hours, Evenings

We are seeking a skilled ECC Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room, working 24 hours, evenings. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating proficiency in multiple EHRs and clear documentation.
- Act as a resource person for Department Directors and Unit Educators, offering guidance and support.
- Ensure effective and respectful communication with staff and patients, receiving and transmitting messages accurately and professionally.
- Support new initiatives and projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Assist in collecting data to support staff and patient education, maintaining a calm and open environment conducive to learning.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current license by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care provider required upon hire or during orientation.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of hiring.
- A minimum of 1 year emergency nursing or psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
