Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ECC Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and families in crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in behavioral health nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current license by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care provider required upon hire or during orientation.
  • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within 6 months of hiring.
  • A minimum of 1 year emergency nursing or psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
