We are seeking a skilled ECC Behavioral Health Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support to patients and families in the Emergency Room.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current license by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care provider required upon hire or during orientation.
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required within 6 months of hiring.
- A minimum of 1 year emergency nursing or psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
