Job Overview

The International Youth Foundation (IYF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Knowledge Manager to join our team. This critical role will be responsible for leading the strategic development and operational execution of the Interagency Gender Working Group (IGWG) focused on promoting gender equality, eliminating gender-based violence, fostering male engagement, and examining youth gender norms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Development and Management: Manage coordination among IGWG members to refine a strategic framework, aligning with IGWG goals and objectives. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables, ensuring efficient progress towards defined targets.
  • Partnership and Member Relations: Forge and cultivate strong relationships with key partners and members, fostering a collaborative and engaged environment. Manage IGWG membership, onboarding new members, and engaging existing ones.
  • Administration and Coordination: Manage IGWG email communication channels, coordinate and manage meeting schedules, agendas, minutes, and action items, facilitate effective communication with IGWG members, and develop and maintain an internal communication plan.
  • Knowledge Products: Develop and manage a production plan for knowledge products like reports, infographics, and fact sheets, and oversee production and dissemination of news publications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field with at least eight (8) years of experience working in international development, youth development, and gender equality.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, and partnership development.
  • Strong Experience managing a technical working group of a variety of stakeholders, including donors, technical partners at a local, regional, and/or global level.
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English required. Professional proficiency in French or other languages are a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills using MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, SharePoint, Salesforce, and other digital tools.
  • Passionate about the IGWG's mission and objectives.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Culturally sensitive and adaptable to diverse working environments.
What We Offer

IYF offers a competitive salary of USD 80,000 – USD 90,000 per year in the US. Outside the US, salary range will depend on the benefits the organization is required to pay by law.
