Job Description

Knowledge Management, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud and Storage Solutions Architect to design and implement secure data storage solutions that integrate with our Azure cloud environment.

This role will also serve as a backup for Azure Cloud Engineer positions, requiring a broad skill set in both storage technologies and general cloud engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop secure data pipelines with file integrity mechanisms
  • Support and deploy Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment when needed
  • Configure and secure Azure resources using compliance management tools
  • Deploy and configure secured Infrastructure as a Service
  • Assist in managing and optimizing cloud-based systems supporting enterprise applications
  • Facilitate the creation of digital evidence check-in process
  • Implement security controls integrating with Microsoft EntraID and RBAC
  • Integrate on-premises storage repositories with Azure storage capabilities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years specialized in enterprise storage technologies
  • Strong experience with Azure and cloud architectures, including EntraID, Intune, and other Azure native services and defender for end point
  • Technical competency in S3, NFS, SMB, CEPH, VM Disks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and SFTP
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing Azure cloud resources such as Virtual Machines, Data Lake Storage, and SQL
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
  • Knowledge of compliance management tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for endpoint, Azure Firewall, and Azure Key Vault
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to various IT roles
