Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in experimental optics to join our team at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. As an EO/IR Scientist-Technical Staff, you will be responsible for developing next-generation advanced EO/IR systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in all aspects of technology development, including design, modeling, laboratory testing, integration, field collection, and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with our team of experts in optical phenomenology, optical sensors, high-speed embedded processing, and data exploitation and visualization algorithms.
  • Contribute to the development of novel technologies and techniques to advance our portfolio of programs.
Requirements
  • Doctorate in physics, electrical engineering, or equivalent. In lieu of a Doctorate, a Master's degree and 4+ years of experience will be considered.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: laser radar, optical remote sensing, non-linear optics, optical spectroscopy, or infrared system analysis, computational imaging/algorithm development.

  • Willingness to travel and strong presentation skills desirable.
