About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team at 10x Genomics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our biopharma customers in the Gulf Coast region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key thought leaders in the Next Gen Sequencing space.
  • Utilize technical knowledge and business acumen to consult with customers and influence key decisions on technology and product choices.
  • Manage sales process, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking through the use of CRM systems and other designated IT tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with genetic analysis markets, products, and buying practices to effectively compete in the assigned territory.
  • Represent the company professionally, ethically, and morally at all times.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years sales experience in Life Science.
  • Extensive knowledge of Next Gen Sequencing.
  • Ability to travel as needed to be successful in this field-based role.
Preferred Skills
  • A Master's or PhD degree is desirable.
  • Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships.

At 10x Genomics, we offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a base pay range of $110,000-$148,000 USD, equity grants, comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and an annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
