Physical Therapy Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Physical Therapist to join our team at Compleat Rehab & Sports Therapy. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in our outpatient clinic, working closely with patients, clinical staff, and management to provide exceptional care and support.

About the Role:

  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by adhering to our policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of clinical and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Market our services to physicians and other referral sources, requiring additional time beyond regular hours.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our clinic, including expanding programs and services.
  • Provide expert physical therapy care to patients with impairments, disabilities, or changes in physical function.
  • Document daily clinical and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate patient care activities to optimize outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Assess and record muscle strength and joint measurements to inform treatment plans.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercises and activities to promote independence.
  • Administer various physical therapy modalities, such as electrotherapy and hydrotherapy.
  • Communicate patient progress and updates to referring physicians for treatment adjustments.
  • Support discharge planning and document related activities.
  • Assign and review patient treatments with Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective progress.
  • Report equipment maintenance needs and make recommendations.
  • Maintain efficient department operations to enhance patient experience.
  • Attend continuing education meetings and share knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an outpatient setting, preferably orthopedic.
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
  • Physical Therapy licensure in North Carolina.
  • Evidence of ongoing continuing education in clinical areas.
  • Proficient English communication skills; fluency in other languages a plus.
