Position Overview:

This role is situated within our Boston, MA office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend and manage litigation involving a wide array of employment-related claims and agency discrimination charges.
  • Represent employers in various forums, including court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations, addressing matters such as class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.
  • Provide pre-litigation and litigation avoidance counsel to clients, offering strategic insights aimed at achieving employee retention and recruitment objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner to clients on employment law matters.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience, with a strong preference for a background in employment law.
  • Current admission to the Massachusetts Bar or eligibility for admission; admission in ME, RI, or VT is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with current agency procedures at both state and federal levels.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management capabilities.
