Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to staff and patients
  • Manage and resolve IT issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless IT operations
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the IT industry, with hospital experience preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience serving as an IT project management lead
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Windows, VPN, Exchange, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Windows desktop support experience is required
  • Prior call center experience and knowledge of ITIL and project management are preferred
  • Familiarity with Cerner Millennium electronic health records is desired
  • Healthcare experience is a plus, as well as an understanding of HIPAA and security protocols to protect Protected Health Information
  • Minimum of undergraduate degree in Business and/or Information Technology/Services
  • A+, MCP, or MCSE certifications are desired
