Compensation:
Starting salary at $60, exempt position
Role Responsibilities:
Manages the daily and long-term functions of the case management team by offering guidance, resources, and support, while ensuring quality and timely service delivery to children and families involved in foster care and/or intact services.
A Typical Day as a Supervisor:
- Ensure service plans are completed punctually and incorporate client feedback.
- Assess all foster care services to confirm they align with the agency's long-term goals and adhere to time and cost efficiency standards.
- Provide case management and related services to clients in the absence of staff.
- Review and validate records, reports, and documentation from supervised staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one supervision sessions with the case management team.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
- Experience in Child Welfare (preferred).
- Child Welfare Licensure (preferred).
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess an insured vehicle.
- A minimum of three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training to obtain Child Welfare Licensure.
