The Wellness Benefits Coordinator will play a vital role in managing benefit administration and wellness programs, empowering employees to enhance their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify data entry for new hires to ensure accuracy in home codes, worker's compensation codes, and benefit classifications.
  • Oversee the processing of deductions, 401k contributions, 401k loans, and Gap Insurance.
  • Generate benefit reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with ACA regulations, including auditing 1095 forms.
  • Follow up on any missed deductions from employees.
  • Prepare comprehensive benefit enrollment guides.
  • Conduct informative benefit orientation sessions.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding their benefits.
  • Assist employees in resolving benefit-related issues.
  • Support the annual open enrollment process.
  • Contribute to the annual 401k audit.
  • Design wellness initiatives that promote physical, mental, and financial health.
  • Organize and coordinate activities such as health screenings, fairs, and nutrition and exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of health and wellness.
  • Manage additional projects that align with the strategic objectives of the HR department.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of federal wage and hour laws, with multi-state knowledge preferred.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exhibit a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy, and sound judgment in handling sensitive matters.
