Job Summary
Strategic Communications is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Foreman to join our team. The qualified candidate will have experience in managing both large and small projects in commercial and government settings. We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.

About the Role
This role involves working closely with engineering, general contractors, installers, and project management teams to review and validate contract Statements of Work (SOW). The successful candidate will have experience in installing, terminating, and testing low voltage cables, certification preferred. They will also be responsible for supervising installation crews, leading and assisting AV and data cabling installation teams, and performing preventive maintenance on AV and VTC systems. A strong understanding of construction documentation and blueprint reading is essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Attending customer meetings/site surveys to gather and compile customer requirements for sales and engineering* Supervising installation crews and leading and assisting AV and data cabling installation teams* Performing preventive maintenance on AV and VTC systems* Documenting customer requirements and filing in a central repository* Reviewing site survey documentation produced by sales reps along with needs assessment reports* Assisting in creation and management of technician timelines and schedules* Providing field and electronic support to technicians during installation and testing of newly installed equipment* Ensuring quality of work and ensuring timelines and schedules are met* May create Gantt charts and project schedules as needed for the construction management teams* Responds to technical support requests of facility stakeholders* Communicating frequently with clients to identify and resolve issues, in a timely, professional, and transparent manner

Requirements
* Associate's degree or higher preferred* Minimum of five years experience in installation of Information Technology (IT), AV and/or Structured Cabling systems, prior experience in Construction Management (new builds and renovations for commercial and government facilities)* Must have the ability to install, terminate, and test low voltage cables; certification preferred* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Ability to lift and/or carry up to 75 pounds of VTC and AV equipment without assistance* Knowledge of AV systems strongly preferred: AMX-Harman, Bi-Amp, Cisco, Crestron, and Polycom (Poly) systems preferred* Avixa/InfoComm CTS or CTS-I strongly preferred* Experience working with multiple departments and managing multiple tasks concurrently* Knowledge of construction documentation and blueprint reading* Driver's license required, safe driving record, must be capable of passing a government background check and obtaining a security clearance if needed* ISO 9001:2015 training to be completed within first 90 days
