Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our Research and Development team in Louisville, CO. The ideal candidate will have experience with fabrication, maintenance, and installation of manufacturing equipment. They will work independently to design, fabricate, and operate package converting equipment, manage R&D projects, and travel to GPI manufacturing locations to troubleshoot machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, fabricate, and convert manufacturing equipment to support new business objectives
  • Manage R&D projects, including scheduling, coordinating, and managing manufacturing trials
  • Work independently to troubleshoot minor mechanical failures and communicate effectively with vendors and plant management
  • Travel to GPI manufacturing locations and customer facilities to install and start-up machinery
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 2 years of experience fabricating, operating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic fabrication experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely around large manufacturing equipment
