**Job Summary**

Lantech is a leading manufacturer of innovative solutions for the stretch wrapping and case handling industries. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of our cutting-edge products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Interpreting customer needs to establish electrical product specifications

• Designing electrical systems, writing PLC logic, and completing electrical documentation

• Ensuring new products meet functional and non-functional specifications, including safety, performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability

• Devising and conducting validation tests to ensure product quality

• Troubleshooting operational issues and devising short and long-term remedies

• Applying engineering theory to solve complex problems

• Collaborating with and supporting teammates and other colleagues

• Directing junior engineers, technologists, and technicians as necessary

• Traveling to customer sites to commission pre-production tests or troubleshoot technical issues (up to 20% of work time)

**Requirements**

• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley Studio5000 and 2D CAD drafting

• General knowledge of NFPA70/79, UL508A, and CE Low Voltage Directive

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience designing or supporting industrial equipment

• Desired skills: Masters in Electrical Engineering, experience with text-based programming, Siemens TIA Portal, and Allen-Bradley CCW
