The successful applicant will be responsible for critical tasks such as system patching, backup management, and executing server migrations. The role requires expertise in both server-level support and the maintenance of custom production applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Windows Server environments across hybrid platforms.
  • Provide strategic guidance on disaster recovery and infrastructure stability best practices.
  • Conduct regular system updates and patching to maintain security and reliability.
  • Oversee backup and recovery operations for mission-critical systems.
  • Plan and execute server migrations, including transitioning workloads to cloud environments.
  • Support a diverse range of technologies, including .NET, Java, SQL, and Oracle.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server-level issues for production applications.
  • Utilize security tools, such as Tenable, for vulnerability management.
  • Implement automated patch management using tools like SCCM.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime.
  • Demonstrate strong networking knowledge, particularly regarding OSI layer functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet infrastructure and application deployment needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications related to Microsoft technologies, such as Azure Administrator Associate or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
  • Networking certifications, including Network+ or CCNA.
