Job Summary:

The Electrical Testing Specialist will primarily focus on distinct projects characterized by their scope and complexity. This role will frequently plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering tasks within significant projects. The individual in this position should possess a comprehensive understanding of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts relevant to their area of expertise. They should confidently exercise independent judgment to devise solutions for a broad spectrum of intricate challenges. The decisions made by the Electrical Testing Specialist significantly impact both the project and our clients.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Certificate or 6+ years of experience in testing, commissioning, or Protection & Control engineering
  • 18-24 months of experience as a Senior Relay Technician or equivalent competency as determined by management
  • Project management capabilities
  • Strong mathematical, mechanical, and technical skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate phases of engineering work in major projects with meticulous attention to detail
  • Utilize technical expertise to identify and resolve complex issues as they arise
  • Develop test plans and procedures for various projects
  • Draft specifications for design and materials related to projects
  • Document theories, plans, and principles for intricate individual projects
  • Employ excellent communication skills when interacting with colleagues and clients alike
