Fire Sprinkler Installation Supervisor

State Fire is a prominent leader in the fire protection sector, renowned for our exceptional skills in the installation and maintenance of essential safety systems. Our extensive range of services includes fire alarms, kitchen fire suppression systems, security solutions, and more, all designed to safeguard our clients' properties and personnel.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Fire Sprinkler Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience working with fire sprinkler systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of various sprinkler systems, such as wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems, ensuring compliance with blueprints and specifications.
- Regional travel and overnight stays may be necessary.
- Work shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as a fire sprinkler fitter.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Possession or ability to obtain relevant state licensing.
- Familiarity with fire and building codes, OSHA regulations, and other job-related standards; MSHA certification is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with software applications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of a national criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and any subsequent random tests.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, or stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
- Ability to navigate confined spaces and challenging access areas.
- Capacity to lift, transport, and position objects weighing up to 70 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Proficient in using trade-specific power tools, including hand tools, saws, and pipe cutters.
