Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Installation Technician to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Installation Technician, you will assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, working closely with our experienced team of professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with our team to achieve project goals and deadlines, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Learn and apply applicable fire protection codes and regulations, ensuring a high level of knowledge and expertise in the field.
  • Perform site clean-up, unloading, staging, and distributing work materials to other employees at job sites, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe environment for yourself, coworkers, and customers, adhering to company safety procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Capable of working independently and completing duties and projects with moderate supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while under pressure to meet expected time frames.
  • Demonstrate the initiative to learn skills of the trade, including applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
  • Ability to perform physical activities outlined in the accompanying physical requirements checklist.
  • Ability to read labels, signage, and directions, as well as basic math computation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Capable of passing a pre-employment background, MVR, and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Applicable experience in the fire protection or commercial customer service business in some capacity.
  • A commercial sprinkler systems background or a basic level of comfort and knowledge with pipe fitting, electrical work, and commercial sprinkler system fittings.
  • An ability to provide services across multiple product lines.
  • Working habits and personal appearance that are both neat and well organized.
