Job Title: Asset Manager

RWE Clean Energy, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Manager to join our dynamic team. As a leading player in the renewable energy sector, we are committed to driving sustainable solutions for a cleaner future.

Job Summary:

The Asset Manager will be responsible for managing all commercial and contractual obligations for a portfolio of renewable energy assets with various internal and external stakeholders. This includes developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans to optimize asset performance, identifying technological and commercial opportunities, and presenting assumptions and recommendations to the Vice President of Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial and contractual obligations for a portfolio of renewable energy assets
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to optimize asset performance
  • Identify technological and commercial opportunities to improve asset performance
  • Present assumptions and recommendations to the Vice President of Asset Management
  • Coordinate planning and execution efforts with all stakeholder departments
  • Establish credibility in the marketplace with suppliers and manufacturers
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards and performance metrics
  • Implement and continuously improve local asset management systems and processes
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Business, or Engineering required. Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector
  • People management experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in building strategic relationships with internal and external project partners and stakeholders
  • Budgeting, forecasting, energy industry research, and team building are highly desirable
  • Experience in asset management and/or technical expertise in the renewable energy industry
  • Experience in negotiating and managing commercial contracts with an understanding of contract law and typical commercial contractual arrangements required for renewable generation assets
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
  • Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
