As a Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Project Management, you will take charge of leading, organizing, and motivating Agile or Hybrid project teams. Your role will involve applying best practices in Project Management methodologies to deliver significant business value and successful outcomes that align with stakeholder expectations and quality standards. This position requires planning, executing, and assessing project activities with an emphasis on adaptability and teamwork. You will manage multiple high-profile projects concurrently in a dynamic environment that spans various business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage large-scale, complex enterprise projects.
  • Guide Agile or Hybrid project teams by strategizing, managing, and executing project goals while adhering to Agile principles and frameworks like Scrum.
  • Create, maintain, and oversee comprehensive project plans, product backlogs, and timelines using Agile methodologies, ensuring responsiveness to evolving requirements.
  • Ensure timely achievement of project milestones, employing Agile ceremonies and metrics to monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Utilize advanced Project Management methodologies and reporting tools to provide transparency into project status and performance.
  • Support the development of project teams while holding members accountable for their commitments.
  • Mentor and nurture project team members by guiding them in adopting an empirical approach to complex tasks.
  • Leverage organizational resources to enhance project capacity.
  • Proactively identify and resolve conflicts, obstacles, and challenges within the project team, promoting a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
  • Recognize and mitigate project risks to successfully achieve project goals.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication with project teams and stakeholders regarding ongoing status, milestones, successes, and risks, utilizing Agile communication techniques.
  • Review and endorse project testing strategies, methodologies, and plans, integrating Agile testing principles and automation tools where feasible.
  • Manage the enterprise change control process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, effectively engaging and motivating Agile or Hybrid teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a Hybrid setting.
  • Thorough understanding of Project Management principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospectives.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to draw logical conclusions and make decisive choices.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt effectively.
  • Proactive and independent work ethic.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • High level of interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership presence.
  • Innate desire to mentor, coach, collaborate, and work with teams.
  • Ability to manage upward and hold senior team members accountable respectfully and professionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools, including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management tools such as Jira.
  • Flexibility and willingness to accommodate project implementation needs, including after hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Education, Experience, and Certification:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years managing large-scale and Agile projects.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent preferred.
