Job Title: EAP Specialist/Clinician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled EAP Specialist/Clinician to join our team at Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and experience working with employees, employers, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consultation and assessment of employee clients to determine appropriate treatment interventions
  • Design and implement clinical pathways and protocols for treatment of selected behavioral conditions
  • Assist in the detection of at-risk employees and development of plans to prevent further psychological or physical deterioration
  • Provide consultation to supervisors regarding employee work performance issues
  • Develop and present employee performance training seminars
  • Travel to multiple office locations to provide on-site training seminars
  • Maintain and edit monthly communications and digital marketing to employer clients and LICADD staff
Requirements:
  • Licensed and credentialed as a mental health counselor (e.g. LMSW, LCSW, MHC, LMHC, etc.)
  • Master's Degree in a related field
  • Experience working with individuals in the mental health population using individual, group, and environmental interventions
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively interact with staff, clients, provider community, and organizational leadership
