About the Role

Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical services department, you will play a critical role in the development, delivery, and evaluation of behavior support services for individuals with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify individualized behavioral support needs.
  • Develop and implement behavior support plans, including functional behavioral assessments and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure seamless delivery of clinical services.
  • Provide training and consultation to staff on behavior support strategies and techniques.
  • Monitor progress and make timely revisions to behavior support plans as needed.
  • Facilitate completion of informed consent evaluations and provide written and verbal reports to psychiatrists and other consultant clinicians.
  • Assist with the facilitation of identified necessary clinical services, including human sexuality, social skills, stress management, and anger control.
  • Provide crisis support and intervention as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Master's degree in behavior analysis or a related field, or a Master's degree in a clinical or treatment field with OPWDD-approved specialized training or experience in functional assessment techniques and behavior support plan development. Licensure is preferred.
