Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Perception Performance and Coverage team. This team plays a crucial role in developing metrics for assessing the effectiveness of our Perception subsystem, creating infrastructure for evaluation pipelines, and generating diverse datasets for performance measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop both backend and frontend components for essential services utilized by the Perception team, providing interactive reports and insights into our autonomous systems.
- Construct and integrate large-scale internal data generation systems to monitor and emphasize changes in our self-driving system's behavior.
- Contribute to and utilize core web visualization libraries for the annotation and visualization of significant actors and scenarios used in system evaluations.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of backend engineers, product designers, autonomy developers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong programming and design capabilities in backend languages (Python or C++) and frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience with databases or storage solutions.
- Familiarity with web services.
- A customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with 3D temporal-spatial rendering tools.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience. In addition to base pay, the successful candidate will be eligible for bonuses, equity compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.
