Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Heavy Civil Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for managing heavy civil commercial, industrial, municipal, state, and large site projects from $500K to $10M. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage heavy civil projects from planning to completion, including sequencing, resourcing, safety and environmental control, pay items, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team by clarifying individual responsibilities, hiring and terminating as needed, and instilling a sense of urgency around shared objectives.
  • Create a structured environment that supports company growth through formalized operations and efficient production.
  • Develop a thriving culture through leadership, coaching, and performance management, ensuring each team member feels supported and understands how their contributions benefit the company.
About You

We're looking for a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience supervising heavy civil work, including sitework, asphalt, paving, road building, demolition, full-scope concrete, earth moving, or utility projects. Your project leadership experience should include creating project timelines as a prime contractor, not just following prescribed schedules as a subcontractor.

You should be a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality results. Your ability to think critically and develop well-planned, highly productive, and efficient project operations will be essential in this role.
