The Hispanic Technology Executive Council is seeking a highly skilled Balance Sheet Strategic Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial analysis and decision support to senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the governance of funding, investing, and analytics of the balance sheet, including managing liquidity and interest rate risk, capital planning, and rating agency relationships.
- Participate in capital markets activities, including commercial paper and securitization, liquidity, accrual risk oversight, and transfer pricing.
- Develop and implement analytical solutions to support business inquiries and drive open issues to completion.
- Direct project prioritization, platform direction, and future state planning and strategic direction.
- Interact with various levels within the organization to gain exposure into various facets of Risk and Finance Processes.
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
- 10+ years of experience working for a financial services organization.
- Experience with effectively analyzing actual and forecast results, with a comprehensive knowledge of transfer pricing and other intercompany items.
- Thorough knowledge of key interest rate risk metrics (IRE, EVS) and working knowledge of financial systems.
- Proficiency with standard analysis tools (Excel, Access, SQL).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of fundamental balance sheet and P&L.
- Bachelor's degree, potentially Master's degree.
