Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Lead is a senior-level position at Citigroup Inc. responsible for providing management with in-depth analysis and insights of financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.

The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy and utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice and counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citigroup's current and projected performance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead creation of Citigroup financial reports and liaise with finance teams to provide a summary of financial trends and insights to senior management
  • Lead analysis of forecasts, strategic and operating plans, and create monthly outlooks in partnership with segment, business, and country financial planning and analysis teams
  • Prepare analytics and insights in support of CEO Reviews including business initiatives
  • Lead analysis of Citigroup's product profitability
  • Develop relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision making
  • Prepare presentations and analysis for the team and in support of the CFO

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Provide support for control-related deliverables

Prepare ad-hoc requests supporting the LFO teams and businesses


Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience within financial services
  • Experience providing financial analysis for monthly forecasts, strategic multi-year forecasts, and annual budgets
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Tableau and OneStream preferable
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
