As a Senior Biller/Collector, you will be responsible for both billing and collections, ensuring accurate and timely payment of accounts in accordance with payer guidelines and regulations.

## Key Responsibilities

* Gather and secure all necessary information for billing and collections
* Maintain deficiency lists to obtain missing documents from internal or external entities
* Resolve claim rejections and package claims for submission
* Perform proactive follow-up with payers and other entities to secure payment of accounts
* Ensure billing through account closure

## Qualifications

* Minimum of 5 years hospital government payer/commercial collector experience
* Associates degree or equivalent work experience required
* Knowledge of contract interpretation and hospital billing requirements
* Understanding of managed care payor contract and contract language
* Working experience with all payer types, including commercial, governmental, Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, etc.

Our Total Rewards package is designed to provide employees with the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $22.00 to $28.00, with the exact starting compensation determined at the time of hire based on skillset, experience, education, and credentials.
