Senior Biller/Collector

Job Summary:
The Senior Biller/Collector is a key member of the Prime Healthcare team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections for our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of government payer guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient billing and collections
- Resolve claim rejections and denials in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless billing and collections processes
- Stay up-to-date with changing government payer regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hospital government payer/commercial collector role
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience required
- Strong knowledge of contract interpretation and hospital billing requirements
